My fellow Americans, today we must come together and realize that credit card debt is an issue that is vexing and troubling a great many of our fellow citizens. Four years and no score ago our economy was rather strong. We had continuous GDP growth in quarter after quarter, unemployment was low and well within what most economists consider to be healthy margins, and people in general were optimistic about the state of the U.S. economy, if not the state of the world.
