States Force Payday Lenders to Close
Last year the Arkansas State Legislature closed a loophole that has allowed payday lenders to operate within the state for the past decade. As part of the ruling, the state attorney general’s office filed lawsuits to force payday lenders to close as of July 31st, 2009.
